What is core cutting?
Core cutting is the process of cutting a round hole through concrete with a hollow diamond-tipped bit. Instead of breaking the concrete, the bit grinds a circle out of it, so the opening comes out at the exact diameter with the concrete around it left sound.
Which types of concrete work do you handle?
Core cutting through walls, floor slabs and beams; floor core cutting for vertical penetrations; wall core cutting for pipes, cables and ventilation; and concrete drilling for fixings, anchors and small services. We cut reinforced concrete, plain concrete, block and masonry walls.
How much does core cutting cost in Karachi?

Do you work on reinforced concrete?
Yes. Diamond tooling will cut through reinforcement where a hole has to pass a bar. We raise any conflict between the marked position and the reinforcement with you before cutting, and structural openings are cut only to an approved specification.
Can you cut an opening in a load-bearing wall or a slab?
Where the opening has been approved by the structural engineer responsible for the building. Structural openings are not decided on site; the position and diameter come from that approval and we cut to it exactly.
Do you need power and water at the site?
Water-cooled core drilling needs a water supply and a single-phase power point at the working position. If either is missing, tell us in advance — alternative arrangements can be made and will be included in the quotation.
How long does a core cutting job take?
A small number of holes in a standard slab is usually a short visit; larger quantities, thick slabs, heavily reinforced concrete and restricted access take longer. We confirm the expected duration with the quotation once we know the diameters, quantity and site conditions.
